2010 Summer Movie Recap

The summer movie season, in general, it was embarrassing for a year industry), could throw a few back in the eighties as Karate Kid (Sony), A-team, and Predators (Fox, MGM, he must have thought it Hot Tub Time Machine would have received a mountain of cash, when published in July in the 1st quarter.

Then the unexpected, such as The Expendables saves Lions Gate. What a crazy summer, when Stallone, after all these years, The Comeback Kid, at the age of 64! I alsoPirhana read today that a movie is only $ 10 million on opening weekend, has only confirmed that the sequel was adopted green light.

Unbelievable that this always Pirhana Expendables and the hype for a foul ball earlier in the season of Robin Hood (Warner), Iron Man and Shrek (Paramount) are thrown, not to mention Sex and the City (Warner). So the summer had gone to a weak start to what has been said before a big advantage in summer revenue.

Speakers on the evening of May 11%Visitors from nearly 20% saying. Not only did the studio executives always a little 'nervous, but so were all the companies that this was the summer of Mobile. The truth of the matter is that mobile advertising is wonderful with the right product. However, less than 30% of the country using smart phone technology, and since in this case, it is a painful experience, the remaining 70% of the population to be connected to video and audio.

Then, in the summer heats up quicklyin July with films such as Inception (Warner) and family, 3-D animation and has been rampant. So much fun, the flood was not their decision for families. Universal, which opened its slate with MacGruber and quickly brought them out of the theater with plywood despicable. Warner was the studio that had the fans thinking that the film and led to several tours and a blockbuster, which has remained in the top 5 for many, many weeks. Sony has released its female version of James Bond with the salt, whichreceived good reviews and box office dollars.

According to Hollywood.com August 16, Hollywood's big summer to 3% from last season was, however, participation from 2.49%. This means that the programming team look at the two studios and agencies to be in full blast to go to the movies this fall. Based on my experience does not seem to see the participation of this decline is a problem due to the fact that the list of publications in September, it seems thatsummer maintenance plan had to read.

Summer Catch

Summer Catch Review

This was a movie we had many years ago, and lent it to someone and never got it back. It was an Easter purchase for my husband who loves this movie, He's happy to have this movie back in his collection. Thank You! Monica Diefes

Summer Catch Overview

A rich girl whose family summers on Cape Cod has a romance with a local boy who hopes to become a major league baseball player.

Summer Catch Specifications

Fans of Freddie Prinze Jr. will no doubt enjoy Summer Catch, which features Freddie running through sprinklers on a baseball diamond wearing nothing but an orange thong. Freddie plays Ryan, an aspiring pitcher at baseball camp. Ryan grew up in the New England town that hosts the camp, mowing lawns with his landscaping father, so he's torn between his local friends and his new baseball buddies. Meanwhile, he's being pursued by a rich and beautiful local girl with the odd name of Tenley (Jessica Biel), whose father doesn't approve of her cavorting with the lawn boy. Ryan's an incredibly talented pitcher--everyone agrees, especially his bartending brother who also wanted to play ball but lacked the gift--but he's haunted by fear of failure and the recent loss of his mother. The strong supporting actors (including Matthew Lillard, Brittany Murphy, Brian Dennehy, Fred Ward, and Bruce Davison) do their best, but the script doesn't help. --Bret Fetzer
